Clinical Therapies Specialist, Clinical Representative

| Reporting to the Clinical Therapies Manager, this role is to champion, guide, and lead the delivery of comprehensive educational programs and key customer relationships to drive and impact AHS revenue. This position functions in collaboration with Marketing and Sales to provide clinical support, build and enhance regional key opinion leader relationships, and to advance the clinical practice of AHS in all sectors. The Clinical Therapies Specialist utilizes advanced knowledge, skill, clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking to support the business and achieves this through customer education and consultation consistent with the business goals and objectives. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Establish and implement plans for AHS products through Partnerships to ensure and enhance standardization of processes (protocols) for VAC Therapy use across all sectors and AHS • Plan and deliver AHS educational content in relation to strategic regional needs • Provide consultation services to customers for complex and high priority AHS needs • Lead and support market-driven initiatives that will improve revenue attainment • Incorporate all new marketing strategies into customer presentations and clinical focus • Identify, develop, and monitor measurements for success, as related to ROI, relations, and internal tracking • Contributes to the development and application of new and/or existing sales tools kits • Responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring clinical research sales tools that incorporate key articles, summaries, and detail aids • Works with Marketing to analyze and interpret clinical data to derive marketing insights and business recommendations • Monitor, analyze, and produce regional, national, and product-specific reports on related clinical studies and health care trends • Assists marketing with the Canadian KOL program, liaising and supporting global KOL initiatives, and interfacing with national and internationally identified influencers to help manage and grow the business as directed • Builds strong interdepartmental relationships • Works with marketing to design measurable marketing objectives, establish metrics of success, create experimental designs, and contribute to marketing strategy development from a clinical perspective • Participates in meetings to contribute to the overall project plan, leading special projects as required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ABILITIES • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience with an attentive focus on Wound Care • Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses Certification in advanced wound education (IIWCC or equivalent) • Actual clinical experience in wound care as a facilitator, leader or manager • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate the development of educational programs for nurses, doctors, sales force and other professionals • Demonstrated skills in facilitating groups, team skills and effective communication • Excellent presentation skills utilizing adult education principles • Knowledge in developing and evaluating computer based customer education programs • Demonstrated organization and project management skills • Superior customer relationship building skills • Strong strategic thinker and self-starter • Ability to travel within region and outside as necessary • Superior knowledge and skills within MS Office PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Certification in Enterostomal Therapy or WOCN or IWCC with relevant wound experience • Studies in adult learning and health education an asset, must complete within a specified time frame • Willingness to continue to develop adult education styles and techniques |
