Pivotal Staffing is currently hiring for a full-time Operations Supervisor for a client in the Durham region. *Salary is $50-55k per annum plus a bonus structure. Shifts available are afternoons and midnight shifts but candidate must be flexible to work all shifts if needed.

Due to growth, our client, a leader in third party logistics, is in need of an Operations Supervisor to work in their warehouse facility. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supervising warehouse staff on a day to day basis
• Scheduling staff and ensuring there is proper coverage for each shift
• Closely monitoring productivity levels and looking for ways to improve processes
• Managing employee performance and conducting annual performance reviews
• Working in an efficient and safe manner by following Company Safety rules
• Completing daily paperwork

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory/management role
• Knowledge of third party logistics is a strong asset
• Preference will be given to candidates with some post secondary education
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be team oriented and able to work with different personality types
