Pivotal Staffing is currently hiring for a District Manager for a client in London, ON. *Salary is $65-75k per annum plus a bonus structure.

Due to growth, our client who is a leader in women’s apparel is in need of a District Manager to work in their London area. The successful candidate will be an experienced multi-unit manager with a history in women’s apparel.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

RESPONSIBILITES:
• Conducts orientation, sales training seminars and season launches.
• Ensure your stores are creating a superior shopping experience for their clients.
• Able to develop and recruit high performing teams.
• Ensure each store plans and hosts in-store events to drive sales and traffic.
• Manages bottom-line contribution including sales, wages, shrink control and direct expenses.
• Promotes the company's values and customer service orientation through personal example, coaching and staff development.
• Maintains effective employee relations and creates a climate of high motivation and commitment within the district.
• Completes 3 month performance reviews and mid year reviews in a timely manner. Evaluates and follow ups with action plans to improve individual store and region performance.
• Trains and assists in the execution of in-store marketing plans.
• Provides information to the merchandising team to ensure that the inventory mix meets store profile.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 4+ years in a District Manager role in a progressive retail organization
• Minimum of 5+ years in a Store Manager role.
• Equivalent of post-secondary education in a related discipline is an asset
• Proven track record of success in delivering results and improving store performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to travel distances by car and availability to work extended and weekend hours
